It was her ambition to take what she had learned in her 30+ year career in working with troubled youth and individuals with disabilities, to build a team of the most respected professionals in Georgia and create an innovative therapeutic environment that nurtures potential and changes lives.
She holds multiple degrees from Georgia colleges in Education and Counseling Psychology and is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She is a 2002 graduate of Leadership Georgia and the Leadership Cobb class of 2014-2015. She is a respected presenter at both the state and national level with expertise in the areas of juvenile justice, mental illness, developmental disabilities and addictive diseases.
Most importantly, she is a parent, and prior to beginning her career with Devereux, she and her husband served as foster parents to more than 40 children.
