Dr. Simone was born in Chicago, Illinois and reared in suburban Niles. He graduated from the University of Illinois in Chicago and along with his wife, Terry, relocated to Atlanta to attend Emory University School of Medicine. After completing 10 years of medical training in Atlanta, he entered private practice in Marietta, Georgia.
Dr. Simone understands the pivotal role of cardiology in primary care, preventive medicine, and in the pursuit of optimal health. He understands the trends in healthcare today and the emerging preference for personalized healthcare. Dr. Simone addresses the entire medical spectrum of his patients, their cardiovascular needs, and lifestyle concerns.

Some interesting facts about Dr. Simone: He earned a black belt in tae kwon do, continues to exercise regularly, carried the Olympic torch for the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics in 2001, played the base guitar in various rock bands, loves Corvettes, and shares an appreciation for food and wine with his wife, Terry, a cooking instructor. Together, he and Terry have two daughters and two grandchildren.
