The Rotary Club of Peachtree City graciously hosted Rotary Leadership Institute on August 17, 2019, at Eaton’s Cooper Lighting. The facility was amazing, not to mention the great food and fellowship! Parts 1, 2, 3 and the Grad Course Transforming Your Rotary Club were held, and more than 60 Rotarians participated. Special thanks to RC Peachtree City Rotarian Mandy Timmons for hosting a great event!

We would like to host a stand-alone Grad Course in the district before the end of year, provided we have enough interested Rotarians. Please email Stephanie Windham ( swwindham@icloud.com) if you’re interested, and let us know which course you’d like to see. The RLI Graduate Courses are Transforming Your Club, Membership, Public Speaking, Foundation and Facilitation Techniques.

There are two RLI events scheduled in Georgia for October 5, 2019 – one in Dublin and the other in Calhoun. If you attended RLI Part One or Two in Peachtree City, please consider completing Part Two or Three then. The Sunshine Division is hosting several RLI events before the end of 2019, including one in Puerto Rico on October 12. Just think – you can vacation in Puerto Rico and spend a day at RLI! Registration and course information may be found at www.rlitraining.org. Cost is $100 which includes course materials, breakfast, lunch and facilities.

RLI is a great place for newly inducted Rotarians to quickly learn about the “Object of Rotary”. Club Officers can build on their Rotary Knowledge to enhance their club experience. Club Presidents can expand on the skills gained at their President Elect Training Seminar. Long time Rotarians can re-kindle the old Rotary flame, and at the same time share their experiences with the other participants. Join us for RLI to Learn, Share and Lead!
