More about Warren
Warren is a native of Georgia, growing up in Loganville, and is an Eagle Scout. He is a graduate from Georgia State University and the J. Mack Robinson College of Business, with a concentration in marketing.
Warren is the oldest of two and is married to Melissa Parsons. Together they have a great passion for animal rescue, and over the course of their relationship have not only rehomed animals, but also adopted 3 dogs and 4 cats themselves. They are also very dedicated Atlanta United fans and try to never miss a match - whether this is by watching at home or attending home games.
Warren’s background includes being a percussionist and enthusiast of the marching arts. After marching through high school, Warren went on to march Drum Corps. Between seasons, Warren taught drumlines all over the state of Georgia. More recently, Warren has been a member of the Atlanta Pipe Band as a member of their percussion section.
In Warren's current role with the Boy Scouts, he serves 39 scout units in the Hightower Trail District, with more than 1,100 youth.
He is excited to have joined the Dunwoody Rotary Club, and looks forward to building relationships in the community as well as helping with the different service projects that the Club takes part in.
More About Margaret
Margaret Whit Evans is a community volunteer, school advocate, and Scout leader working to build community through the local schools and neighboring organizations. Her work in Scouting has included serving as Troop 15 Committee Chair, Cub Scout Den Leader, District Membership Chair, Hightower Trail District Commissioner, and is on the Council Advancement Committee. Margaret recently been received the Hightower Trial District Award of Merit, and the Whitney M. Young service award.
Before retiring, Margaret was Children’s Ministry Director at First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta and then at Shallowford Presbyterian Church. Margaret previously worked as Director of Individual Giving for the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. Margaret is a native of Atlanta and has a B.A. degree from Presbyterian college. Margaret and her husband Matt are proud parents to sons Candler and Bryson.
