Each year we pick one home game where all of Roswell Rotary can show up for an old-fashioned Friday night lights event. But this year, we tied it in with our big new service project of stopping teenage bullying.
One of our members catered the event with BBQ and all the fix'ins before the game. Scores of our members came out to feast and root on the Hornets who went on to play in the Division 6 state championship game.
The "Be The Voice" program against bullying was prominently featured with banners, from the announcer's booth and under the Rotary tent.
It was a win for the team, a win for our club and a win for the service project.
