Join us this Saturday, April 3, inside at the Community Assistance Center (CAC) food pantry from 9 am to noon ... we'll help stock shelves, process food donations and generally get the pantry ready for next week's shoppers. All COVID safety provisions are followed. Let Jennifer Bowler know if you plan to join us.
What: Olympics State Horse Show
When: Saturday, May 29, 11:45 am – 2:15 pm
Where: Wills Park Equestrian Center, 11915 Wills Road Alpharetta, Georgia 30009
Because of COVID guidelines, there have been very few in-person activities for Special Olympic athletes since March 2020. Therefore, the State Horse Show is a most welcome event. As an Official Sponsor of this event, the Rotary Club of Dunwoody has access to 15 volunteer spots. We are partnering with the Atlanta Rotaract Club on this volunteer opportunity.
Volunteer registration is open now. Please register by April 20 by sending name, email and cell phone to Kathy Brandt at kgbrandt1@comcast.net. The event will be totally staged as an outdoor event with CDC COVID guidelines enforced for the event. In preparation for the event all participants, including volunteers, will be sent a link to a training session and two COVID waivers to be signed and returned to Kathy Brandt.

Thanks to all members who responded in a timely manner to allow the Club to log their various participation in Rotary activities. We heard back from 14 Rotarians and identified 11 activities that hadn't been recorded. As a result we will be better able to demonstrate the actual value that we have achieved from our members' wide ranging efforts.
When we add the 204 hours you reported to the 414 hours that had already been documented on the Club's Google Participation Spreadsheet, we have more than 600 hours of service this Rotary year - all as we locked up for the pandemic. And we still have three months to go in this Rotary year.
Please continue your efforts to make Rotary an effective partner in our community and the world at large. Well done.
