The Board of Directors voted to raise dues $50 per quarter ($200 per year) across all membership types. You can read President Jack's recent email (available here when you click "more" at the bottom of the article) which outlines the vote and reviews the details of the operating budget.
The club will vote on this proposal during our Friday, March 29 meeting (this Friday). If you are unable to attend this meeting, you can vote by proxy - please email your vote to approve or reject this proposal to raise the dues $50 per quarter to Dave Burr at dave@mailcenteretc.com.
As our May 13 FORE the Memories! golf tournament approaches, we still need your help:
Lastly,
we are looking to move next year's tournament out one week to give us all a
break between the Dunwoody Art Festival and our tournament's volunteer efforts.
More to come on this.
The committee for this year's Whiskey Raffle held its first meeting on Tuesday, March 26. Matthew Johnson hosted the gathering at his
home. The committee kicked off planning early this year because we expect a lot of changes to the format, including a
much larger prize fund and only having one night for all the
drawings. Dave Burr is this year's chairperson for the fundraiser and will
share more details as well as solicit your help during our general meetings.
