Since 2002, Matheson has directed all operations for the 30-acre public garden, and under her leadership, the nonprofit organization has actively expanded fund-raising, education, marketing, business administration, horticulture and conservation efforts with a rapidly growing membership base of more than 50,000. Additionally, she is responsible for the development of the Atlanta Botanical Garden, Gainesville, a 185-acre public garden in Gainesville, Georgia. [more]
We are eight days out from the Dunwoody Arts Festival. Thanks to your enthusiastic turnout. we have Friday night and most of the early Saturday morning slots filled for Artist Set-up but still need a few volunteers:
To volunteer for any of these spots, please send your name, email, cell phone
and desired role to Kathy Brandt

We had a great time in SanDestin last weekend - these photos just show a small part of the fun as we enjoyed Green Acres and fellowship with friends. We hosted a hospitality suite with Sandy Springs that welcomed many of our District friends. Ask Meredith about her vintage hat - all part of Friday night's Green Acres costume event.
The club was recognized for Best Foundation giving and President Jennifer received her District Governor's citation for a job well done!
We had 16 members of our Dunwoody Rotary family there - including Camille, our Rotary Youth Exchange student, and Shashwat, this year's GRSP student.
Yes, we are talking about next year's District Conference and a special registration price that's good through this Sunday, May 7. Join us as we Amplify Rotary and feature the Lady with a Song, none other than our District Governor-Elect André Marria. DGE André is a Lady with a Song, and this conference will be filled with music, laughter, fun, and fellowship. The conference will be at the beautiful Jekyll Island Convention Center March 21-24, 2024. Let’s celebrate all the ways our clubs make Rotary BIGGER, BETTER, AND LOUDER!
To register, login to rotary6900.org and click on “Register for the 2024 District Conference at Jekyll Island.” The registration fee through May 7, 2023 is only $200. The price goes up to $275 on May 8, 2024, so register early to get this special rate. There are also special rates for guests, students, and children under the age of 17. The registration fee will go up again in September ($295), so it pays to register early! [more]
