Join us this Friday in person or via Zoom to welcome Gregory Dozier, Commissioner of the Technical College System of Georgia. We will be meeting for the first time at Le Meridien Atlanta Perimeter, 111 Perimeter Center West, Atlanta GA 30346, or you can join us via Zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86202979419
Greg holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and master’s degree in Business Administration from Georgia State University. He resides in Covington with his wife and two daughters.
Greg has extensive leadership experience in state operations, formerly serving as the Governor’s Chief Financial Officer. Before that, he served as Commissioner of the Department of Corrections, Commissioner of the Department of Driver Services, and Division Director at the Governor’s Office of Planning and Budget.
Greg has served in leadership capacities under Governors Perdue, Deal, and Kemp.
A productive squad of Dunwoody Rotarians, Tina Philpot, Ed Holliday, Bob O’Brien, and yours truly reported for spruce up duty this past Saturday at 0900.The usual activities were included: snipping, clipping, weed pulling, sweeping, blowing. We capped off the one hour session with planting some beautiful helleborus a.k.a. Lenten Roses (Icy White Rose) in the middle of the park.
Bob has observed on more than one occasion that no one in the group is under 60. (We don’t include Hoshi when he’s here because he is mentally ancient.) Let’s dispel the ugly rumor that only older, more attractive Rotarians are welcome to participate. After all, Hoshi may come if he isn’t sleeping in. Everybody is welcome, and your next chance is Saturday, May 8, 2021!
Look forward to seeing you!
Ranger Fred
