On Monday, November 28, 2016, Beth Howell, President/CEO of Ronald McDonald House Charities, spoke to the Rotary Club of Sandy Springs about the local Ronald McDonald Charities, including the Ronald McDonald House which provides family-like housing for people in need. Many of the families who stay at the Ronald McDonald house in Sandy Springs are children who are patients at Children's Healthcare at Scottish Rite. The extent of services has expanded beyond the provision of temporary housing, including a mobile medical unit. There are many ways to volunteer.
