Mimosa Book Bags

Once again this year, our club donated book bags and various school supplies to Mimosa Elementary School. We donated 150 bags complete with tags that included the 4-Way Test - Kid Version: Is it true? Is it Fair? Will we stay friends? Will everyone be happy? The bags were sponsored by all of our club members and other non-Rotarians. We raised $2200 in sponsorships and the cash outlay for the project was $1520. We had 5 Rotarians volunteer to deliver the supplies. These bags were distributed to students based on need and the supplies were included in the bags and provided to the school to use for the entire student body. We have a long standing relationship with Mimosa Elementary and partner with them in various ways throughout the school year.
